Now here is a real hoot that I picked up on another forum. I'm quite sure that most if not all of you have heard of Michelle Dunn and maybe some of you even know her personally.

She went to a popular forum and posted the following message.

Well, of course, the motives of someone who claims to know all about credit and collection immediately become suspect when they post a message like this in a credit repair forum.

However that is secondary to the outrageous behavious of Attention LLC who, like most other collection agencies is guilty of several violations of law and if your motives in asking your question in this forum were in tune with attempting to help this poor person you would have already told her that allowing any thieving collection agency to have unlimited access to one's bank account. You would have told this poor person that the best way to handle this situation would be to only keep enough money in the account to pay the collection agency and any bank fees but certainly not any more than that. And since she says she has changed banks then she should not give them her new banking info under any circumstances.

Also, it would seem that a person such as yourself who claims to be knowledgeable enough to have her own collection agency and also write books about collection agencies and how to start them up would have been knowledgeable enough to find attention LLC within a few minutes of a simple Google search where you would have come up with the following information real quick.

Attention, LLC , 3432 Jefferson Avenue Texarkana AR 71854- , (870) 216-2886
Attention, LLC , 220A North Sunset Blvd. Sherman TX 75092- , (903) 891-8407
Attention, LLC , 7333 Tam O'Shanter Stockton CA 95210- , (209) 870-3000
Attention, LLC , 2812 Spring Road, Ste. 250 Atlanta GA 30339- , (770) 432-2505

And a whole lot more information than that on the scumbags as well.
It certainly seems logical that if you purport to be knowledgeable about collection agencies and how to start them then you would also have been knowledgeable enough to inform this person that each and every time a 3rd party debt collector contacts a consumer through any medium including any electronic media they must give full and complete information as to who they are among other things. Contacting someone by snatching money out of their bank accounts would most certainly be contacting them by some media, electronic or otherwise and that all collection agencies must inform the consumer before snatching their money out of their bank accounts that they intend to do so and when and how much they are going to snatch and in failing to do so Attention LLC has again violated the law each and every time they do so without giving full and complete disclosure of who they are, what their contact information is and how much the debt is as well as other pertinent information. This person should be thinking about filing a lawsuit on these scumbags instead of worrying about paying them.

As long as people put up with these kinds of outrageous conduct instead of filing lawsuits on them for their criminal behaviour we will never get the so called "collection industry" cleaned up and operating as decent citizens of our economic community.

So just what kind of a flimflam are you trying to pull, coming to a forum like this and asking questions that only prove that you really don't have the expertise you claim you have via your website and your books? I don't think you are going to like the outcoe of this little escapade of yours.
I received this email from someone and wondered if I could get some input on this:

I don't know if you can help me or not. I've been paying for over a year to
a collection agency out of sherman tx, named attention llc. They send out
info to me every month to remind me that they are taking the money out of my
bank account but there is no contact infomation for them on the notices they
send me. I have changed banks and have no way of contacting the company to
advise them to change my account information. I have attempted to locate a
phone number or email address for them and have found nothing to lead me in
the right direction. How would I either get information on this collection
agency or what are my rights being that they have no contact information
listed on any of the notices they have sent me? Any help would be
appreciated.

Best Regards,

Michelle Dunn
