And like I said in the comments section, pretty soon this thing starts to get some pretty decent search engine rankings.

For instance, somebody goes searching for "Bill Lindala" and they also now come up with "Bill Bauer" and this blog. Or they just might go searching for any number of different search terms and come up with this blog and learn about all the fools posting on your favorite forum and the stupid comments they come up with.

I noticed this comment on a collection industry forum posted by a debt collector. Of course, the following is just a part of his ignorant rant.


How is it that these AOC'ers can pay for a computer, or internet access, or a cell phone, etc, if they can't even pay primary obligations first? Doesn't a defaulted CC come before purchasing a computer? What am I thinking.... of course not!! Why, they have to track imaginary violations somewhere, right?

I am out of sympathy.

Pay for what you took, and quit with the stupid games.

So that is what these oafs think this is all about. Stupid games. Since when is compliance with the law a stupid game?? Only when the law demands something of you is it a stupid game??? Only when the law demands that you do the right thing is it a stupid game???

But when the law demands something of the other fellow then it is not a stupid game. Is that the way you think it works Mr. idiot debt collector???

The fact that everyone has a right to a full and complete accounting of the debt by you and the original creditor is nothing more than a stupid game to you.

Well, tell you what pal. You need to get a different point of view because the one you have now can and very well may just put you out of the debt collection business.

So far you have been pretty lucky because all you have met so far are those who do not know the law, do not care about the law and their rights under the law and are probalby too frightened by you and your ilk to do anything but whimper and pay up.

It is easy for us to know whether or not a group of people know what they are doing or talking about by how much attention they pay to simple concepts such as validation.

If their message board is full of endless talk about what is validation, what it consists of and how to either get it from the creditor or collector and what constitutes compliance with a demand for validation then they have no idea what it is in the first place and will not be able to either provide it or even demand it properly in the first place.

If you find a message board such as this one where validation is not the main topic of conversation and is hardly ever mentioned then you have a message board where the posters know and understand what it is and whether or not it has been properly complied with then you have a message board that you need to be watching very carefully because they not only know about validation but they also know how to take you down.
